Molson Coors Water Steward Endowed Scholarship
Purpose:
The Fund exists to provide scholarships to University students who have an explicit interest in water and establishing a career in the environmental community.
The Fund will provide financial resources to students enrolled in the water studies minor, the water studies certificate, the Water Fellows fellowship program, and other water studies educational and experiential programming offered through the One World One Water (OWOW) Center at the University. The Fund will encourage students to participate in educational, experiential, and career-building opportunities to benefit Auraria Campus, the Denver metropolitan region, and the State of Colorado.
Criteria:
The scholarship recipient shall:
- Be meeting the University’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid.
- Have a current General Scholarship application on file.
- Be currently enrolled or participating in the water studies minor, the water studies certificate, the Water Fellows fellowship program, or another water-related educational and experiential opportunity.
- Be enrolled at least half time (6 or more credit hours).
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater.
- In 500 words or less, write an essay that shares how receiving this scholarship will support your development as a future water or environmental professional, and how you envision contributing to the broader water community?
