Dimond Exceptional Student Endowed Scholarship

Purpose:
The ‘Dimond Exceptional Student Endowed Scholarship’ exists to support one outstanding hospitality student who has demonstrated exemplary academic, community, and work-related achievements. The award has a value of $5,000.

Criteria:
The scholarship recipient shall:
• Be meeting the University’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid.
• Have a completed and current general scholarship application on file.
• Be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours during the semester the scholarship is received.
• Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
• Have a declared major in the University’s School of Hospitality.

The scholarship is open to DACA/ASSET students

This prestigious scholarship of $5,000 is awarded to one outstanding hospitality student who has shown excellence in and outside of the classroom. To apply for this scholarship, students will write an essay of approximately 500 words that outlines their exemplary academic, community, and/or work-related achievements. The application process may also include an interview.
