Candy Lee Osgood Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Purpose:
To honor the late Ms. Candy Lee Osgood, a former Metro State student, by providing scholarships to University students majoring in English.

Criteria:
• Be meeting the University’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and not be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid.
• Have a declared major in English.
• Write an essay of approximately 500 words that addresses the following:
How has your understanding of challenges faced by women influenced your decision to major in English.

The scholarship award is renewable for multiple years at the discretion of the Dean of the University’s College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences and the Chair of the University’s Department of English.
