Access Annual Scholarship

Purpose:
This fund is established to help DACA/ ASSET students at Metropolitan State University of Denver achieve their goal of a university education.

Criteria:

• Be meeting MSU Denver’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid
• Have completed the necessary steps with the Metropolitan State University of Denver Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships to be classified as an eligible ASSET student
• Be full or part-time
• Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
• Recipients may be asked to provide additional biographical information to the donors after selection
• In so far as funds are available, recipients will receive a maximum scholarship of $4,000 split between fall and spring semesters
• The Donors request that the awardee report back to them about the impact of the scholarship award
