Peierls Opportunity Scholarship

Purpose:
To support motivated individuals whose financial circumstances might otherwise cause them to drop out of college.

Criteria:

• Be a Colorado resident
• Be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours)
• Be classified as a junior or senior.
• Must have documented financial need as established by the FAFSA and MSU Denver’s Financial Aid Office.
• A cumulative GPA of 2.0 GPA or greater

Preference is given to students who face particularly difficult financial challenges. (Based on Pell eligibility)
Preference for first-generation college students
There is a preference for the recipients to be of traditional college age and not single parents
