FSH172 Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative- Adams County

MSU Denver is excited to offer the Adams County High School Graduate scholarship in collaboration with Adams County Education Consortium and the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Opportunity.

Qualifications:

  • Have graduated from an Adams County High School
  • Have a Student Aid Index below 2.5 times the maximum SAI to qualify for the Federal Pell grant
  • Have completed the FAFSA or CASFA (Colorado Application for State Financial Aid) and meet MSU Denver’s financial aid satisfactory academic progress requirements
  • Have a complete Financial Aid file (24-25 schoolyear)
  • Be an undergraduate student enrolled full time (12 credits or more) for spring 2025

Preference is given to First Year student and students with Junior class standing. Awards are available on a first come, first served basis.

Award Amount: Minimum $500

FERPA Release

In compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), educational institutions are prohibited from releasing student education records without your consent. Additional information regarding FERPA and educational records can be located in the university catalog on the MSU Denver webpage.

When completing this form, you are authorizing MSU Denver to release ALL educational records, as defined in 20 U.S.C. 1232g, and which may include, but are not limited to, transcripts, social security number, and disciplinary records to the person(s) or organization(s) designated through this form. This authorization will remain in effect until student withdraws this authorization in writing to the Office of the Registrar. A password of COSIMSS is assigned to your FERPA and the person to whom information is released will be Adams County Education Consortium, Classroom to Career Hub/Colorado Department of Higher Education- Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative, phone: 303-615-3333, email: c2hub@msudenver.edu.
