Columbine Scholarship

Purpose:
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a deserving student enrolled as a History major at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Mary Kardoes Bleecher is a MSU Denver alumnus who was the charter President of the local Phi Alpha Theta International History Honor Society, organized in 1975.

Criteria:
• Have a declared major in history
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.25.
• Be a full time student taking 12 or more credit hours during the semester(s) the scholarship is received.
• Have a strong interest in history through membership and involvement in clubs or activities deemed appropriate by the selection committee.
