Gill (GLBTQ) Foundation Endowed Scholarship
Purpose
The Fund exists to provide scholarships to assist deserving students dedicated to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) issues.
Criteria
• Be meeting the University’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid.
• Have a declared major
• Be an undergraduate student
• Have a 2.5 cumulative GPA
• Be enrolled at least half-time (6+ or more credit hours)
• Submit a short essay (500 words or less) addressing how your personal and professional goals will enhance the lives of LGBTQ folks.
Preference is for first-year students, but not required.
Financial need as determined by FAFSA/CASFA and the University’s Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships may be considered, but not required.
