Thunderhead Endowed Scholarship

Purpose:
This scholarship is established in honor of the Donor’s mother, whose parents immigrated to the United States without completing grammar school and without a knowledge of the English language. The family prospered and ensured both children graduated from college. The Donor wishes to remind students that hard work and determination can overcome great obstacles, even those that seem insurmountable. The purpose of this scholarship is to annually benefit a student or students in the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Criteria:
• Be a former active student participant in the CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) at MSU Denver
• Have financial need, based on FAFSA application
• Be a full-time student (12 semester credit hours minimum)
• Be in good academic standing; no holds
• Degree-seeking student
• Maintain minimum 2.0 GPA
