Saunders Construction Inc. Endowed Scholarship

Saunders Construction Inc. is one of the most respected commercial builders in the Rocky Mountain region. Saunders is recognized for commitment and focus that help turn ideas into projects and projects into landmarks, including MSU Denver’s Student Success Building completed in 2012. With over $4 billion in successful projects, Saunders is currently ranked as one of the largest general contractors in Colorado by ENR Mountain States Construction Magazine. Since its founding in 1972, Saunders Construction, Inc. has been just as conscientious about building relationships as it is about the buildings it creates. Our corporate culture has always emphasized, “people over profits.”   The Saunders Construction Scholarship is designed for MSU Denver juniors and seniors majoring in Engineering Technology who have at least a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their work.

Criteria:
• Be taking 12 or more credit hours during the semester(s) the scholarship is received
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
• Have a declared major in Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering at Metropolitan State University of Denver
• Have a class standing as a junior or senior
• Be a US citizen
• Be a Colorado resident
• Have financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Metropolitan State University of Denver Office of Financial Aid
