Jake Thompson Gift of Life Endowed Scholarship

Purpose:
Jacob Matthew Thompson was a 21-year-old who loved life! His life was cut short when his car collided with a train in downtown Denver. Jacob gave the gift of life as an organ and tissue donor. His gifts of life saved 4 lives. This scholarship has been designed to assist the families of organ, tissue and eye donors. As loved ones have given the gift of life, perhaps this gift can assist a donor family with a new life for themselves and help them put together a future. Jacob was a very kind, compassionate, and giving young man. He was always helping out others. He had compassion for the homeless, and living downtown took every opportunity to help them out. He gave when he himself had very little to give. Jacob never met a stranger. His love knew no boundaries.
