Stephen & Ruth Jordan Student Access Endowed Scholarship
Purpose:
The Fund was initially established with proceeds from the 2017 MSU Denver Summer Soiree held on June 10, 2017, as a celebration of Dr. Stephen and Ruthie Jordan’s twelve years of outstanding leadership as President and "First Lady’’ of the University.
Criteria:
• Apply annually for Financial Aid, using either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the CASFA application for DACA students, or their equivalents, and have expected family contribution
scores that would qualify them for Pell Grants whether or not they are eligible to receive them
• Pass the English and reading sections of the Accuplacer test, or be exempt through SAT/ACT test scores
• Intend to graduate from MSU Denver
Preference will be given to students who are:
• First-generation students within their family
• Members of an ethnic minority
Undocumented students are eligible to receive this scholarship.
