Leo Kiely Endowed Scholarship

Purpose:
The Leo Kiely Endowed Scholarship was established by the founding donors – Ron Askew, Ted Case, Bill Dunlap, David Hudnall and Jeremy Pagden – to honor Leo Kiely, who consistently exhibits vision, courage, volunteerism and leadership, but above all else, is a dedicated mentor and developer of people. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide a scholarship to a deserving MSU Denver student who has shown that he or she has a demonstrated history of giving back to others. The award will be used to cover all or part of tuition, books, fees and other educational expenses.

Criteria:
• Have financial need based on FAFSA
• Be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours
• Have a declared major
• Have demonstrated a history of volunteerism in the community and/or school and must be actively involved in giving back to the community and/or school while receiving aid and must provide documentation to verify involvement.

The recipient shall be awarded the scholarship each academic year for Fall and Spring semesters for up to eight semesters (contingent on available funds). Spring semester (second-semester installment award based on the criteria being met during the Fall semester).
