UMB Bank and Jon Robinson Endowed Scholarship

Purpose:
UMB Bank, n.a. employs more than 3,000 associates and operates banking centers across Missouri, Illinois, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Arizona. Subsidiaries of the holding company and UNB Bank, n.a., include an investment services group based in Milwaukee, Wis., a trust management company in South Dakota, and single-purpose companies for brokerage services, consulting services, and insurance. Jon Robinson has been associated with UMB Bank for over thirty years and he, along with the bank, wishes to encourage interest in the banking industry. To this end, the donor wishes to support students majoring in accounting and/or finance.

Criteria:
• Be meeting the University’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid
• Have financial need as determined by FAFSA and the Metropolitan State University of Denver Office of Financial Aid.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
• Have a declared major in Accounting or Finance
• Have completed at least 30 credit hours at Metropolitan State University of Denver
• Be full or part-time, taking a minimum of 6 credit hours during the semester(s) the scholarship is received
• Students must complete the University’s Scholarship application.

Preference is for students that participate in either the ACE Scholarship program or the Colorado Uplift program
The scholarship is renewable if the criteria continues to be met (contingent on available funds).
