George R. Wiser Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Purpose
Alumnus Cherie Krasovich is establishing this scholarship in honor of her father, George R. Wiser, who was killed in a light plane accident. Cherie is a 1986 graduate of the Metropolitan State University of Denver Aviation and Aerospace Science Department. The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships that support deserving students at Metropolitan State University of Denver who are majoring in Aviation & Aerospace Science.

Criteria
• Be an Aviation and Aerospace Science major
• Have a 2.7 cumulative GPA
• Be a full-time student
• Have demonstrated involvement through community work and/or extracurricular activities
• One recipient will be an entering freshmen, and the 2nd recipient will be a continuing MSU Denver student who has completed 12 hours in aerospace if sufficient funding is available for both.
