Mug Club Endowed Scholarship

The MSU Denver Mug Club was established in 2017 as a dues-based membership group designed to increase alumni engagement with the intent of directing all dues toward student scholarships. This scholarship will provide financial support to students in the Beer Industry Program.

The scholarship recipient shall:
- Be meeting MSU Denver’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
- Have a declared major in Brewery Operations or Craft Brewing and Pub Operations. If there are no eligible students then someone with a declared major within the Hospitality, Tourism, and Events
department shall be selected
- Demonstrate a history of service and leadership as detailed in the MSU Denver Scholarship Application

There is a preference for the recipient to have need as determined by the Metropolitan State University of Denver Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship by the completion of the FAFSA or CASFA Application.
If a master’s degree in the Beer Industry Program is offered, those students will be eligible for the scholarship.
