Morningstar Endowed Scholarship

The Fund is established to provide scholarships to assist University students interested in pursuing careers in public service and community development. The Morningstar Endowed Scholarship has been established in memory of Ernestine Morgenstern (Harrell) Barany (1924–2017), Holocaust refugee and de–Nazification civil servant for the Allies following World War II. After emigrating to the U.S. and settling in Denver, Ms. Morgenstern became a generous donor and volunteer in community service for many decades. This gift is dedicated to assisting students interested in pursuing careers in public service and community development.
