Mothers' Endowed Scholarship

Purpose
The Fund was established by the founding donor Mary Gittings Cronin, Sheila Kaplan, Jane Prancan, Linda Tafoya, Marilee Utter, and Carolyn Schaefer Wollard to provide scholarships in honor of the legacy left to us by our mothers who showed courage, strength, determination and an abundance of love for their families.

Criteria
The scholarship recipient shall:
• Be meeting the University’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid.
• Have financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, by completing the F AFSA /CASFA Application
• Be a senior
• Have a declared major at the University
• Be a Colorado resident
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Be a single parent

There is a preference to support first-generation college students.

There is a preference to support single women with children.
