Origins Endowed Scholarship

Purpose:
The Fund is established to provide scholarships to students who have demonstrated the ability to succeed despite facing a variety of personal challenges.

The Fund honors the vision of the University’s History Committee, a group comprised of current and past faculty, staff and administrators, along with alumni and students. The History Committee was created in 2010 to capture historical information before it was lost forever. The Committee focused its efforts on interviewing current and past employees and alumni, initiating departmental histories and assuring that archives of historical documents and memorabilia be maintained, protected and expanded. The Committee launched this effort in honor of the University’s 45th and 50th Anniversary to acknowledge the tremendous accomplishments achieved by the men and women who worked hard to make the vision a reality, and to provide perpetual support to students via scholarship support.
