Lillian and James Tinsley Scholarship

Purpose:
The Fund is established to provide scholarships for dedicated students pursuing their degree at the University.

Criteria:
The scholarship recipient shall:
• Be meeting the University’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid.
• Have financial need as determined by FAFSA/CAFSA and the University’s Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships
• Be enrolled full-time (12 or more credit hours)
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Be an undergraduate student

Preference is for four students to be awarded each academic year, two students with a STEM major and two students with any major.
Preference is to award each student as close to a $5,000 scholarship as possible per academic year.
The scholarship is open to ASSET/DACA/Dreamer students
