Richard D. & Mary Pat McCormick Endowed Scholarship

The scholarship shall be awarded to a senior at Arrupe Jesuit High School. Having a Jesuit college education and believing in the charisms and outcomes of our children and grandchildren in Jesuit schools, we wish to support Arrupe Jesuit High School, graduates. We believe the scholarship awardee will do his/her best to successfully complete their education and make a difference in this world.

• Apply to MSU Denver and complete the MSU Denver Scholarship Application by February 1 of the senior year at Arrupe Jesuit High School.
• Have a 3.0 GPA upon being admitted to MSU Denver and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
• Participate fully in the First Year Success Program.
• Be full-time (12 or more credit hours) during the semesters the scholarship is received.
• Be meeting MSU Denver’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid.

There is a preference to assist students who desire a teaching career, with a major or minor in Education.
Renewal is possible at this level for up to four years if criteria are met and funds are available.
