Donn Aggeler Accounting Scholarship

Purpose:
The Fund is established to provide scholarships in order to aid, recognize, and encourage students in their pursuit of accounting careers and to honor Colorado native, Donn Aggeler. Donn graduated from Metro State College in 1993 with a degree in Accounting. She later became a principal partner at Causey, Demgen & Moore, with expertise in auditing and certified fraud examination. She also served the firm as Chief Financial Officer. Her enthusiastic support of the University led to her selection on the Foundation’s Board of Directors where she was named Treasurer.

Criteria:
• Be meeting MSU Denver’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid.
• Have a declared major in Accounting
• Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0
• Be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during the semester the scholarship is received

Scholarships in the amount of $500 per student will be made each semester. Donor wants $1,000 scholarships split evenly for f/s.
