Gerald B. Murphy Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Purpose
To provide scholarships to Engineering and Aerospace Science students.
The Gerald B. Murphy Memorial Endowed Scholarship is established by Genah Murphy Burditt, Sandy Murphy, and others to celebrate the life and legacy of Gerry Murphy. The scholarship recognizes Gerry’s lasting commitment to educating the next generation of engineers and aerospace scientists.

Criteria
The scholarship recipient shall:
• Be meeting the University’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid.
• Be enrolled full time (12 or more credit hours)
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Have a declared major in Engineering or Aerospace Science
• Be a U.S. Citizen
• Be an undergraduate student

Preference is for first-generation female students pursuing a degree in Engineering or Aerospace Science.

The scholarship is not renewable
