Band Excellence Endowed Scholarship

Purpose:
Elisabeth Knappenberger Elm was a passionate supporter of music and the arts, and this endowed scholarship was created as a foundation to provide enduring support of band members in the wind ensemble at MSU Denver.

Criteria:
• Be a band member for at least one year
• Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater
• Be meeting MSU Denver’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid.
• Complete the MSU Denver Office of Financial Aid Scholarship Application
• Applicants must submit a 250 word essay on how they have demonstrated an enduring commitment to the band program through musicianship, loyalty, and cooperation
