To address equity in the healthcare workforce, Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Health Institute is hosting a DACA/Undocumented student Health careers Opportunity Program (DUHOP) that provides scholarships and stipends, training in cultural responsiveness and emerging health issues, mentoring with a health care professional, and proactive advising to undocumented undergraduate students that are interested in health careers.
