Hannah Brooke Eppley Annual Scholarship

Purpose
To provide support to Early Childhood Education students at Metropolitan State University of Denver who may be single parents with financial need. This scholarship honors my daughter who was an unplanned child when I was in my undergraduate program in 1997. I attended MSU Denver and was graciously awarded scholarships. I would like to return the gift that was bestowed on me.

Criteria
• Be meeting MSU Denver’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid
• Be taking a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester(s) the scholarship is received
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.5
• Have a declared major in Early Childhood Education
• Be a U.S. citizen
• Have financial need as defined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Metropolitan State University of Denver Office of Financial Aid

Preference for the recipient to be a single-parent
Renewal: (Contingent on available funds) The recipient should re-apply to be considered for renewal.
