Keith Mann Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Purpose
The Keith Mann Memorial Endowed Scholarship is in memory of a faithful and courageous faculty member at MSU Denver. Keith Mann was a professor of Education who persevered in the face of extreme adversity. Although a young man who faced a life-threatening illness and disability, he was always positive, full of hope and laughter. He continued to encourage his students, family colleagues and friends right to the end of his short life.

Criteria
• Be meeting MSU Denver’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid
• Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 during the semester(s) the scholarship is received
• Have a declared major
• Have completed at least 30 credit hours.
• Applicants will be asked to write a 1-2 page essay on a topic to be announced.

There is a preference for the recipient to be African American.
There is a preference for the recipient to have financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Metropolitan State University of Denver Office of Financial Aid.
