Juan Solano, III Endowed Fund: Creating Opportunities for Excellence in Education
As a single parent, paying for school can be difficult. The Juan Solano, III Endowed Scholarship: Creating Opportunities for Excellence in Education has been established to ease the burden many single parents face when trying to balance work, school, paying the bills, and spending time with their family.
Juan Solano III, his mother Janet Mills, and his daughter Jennifer O’Connor completed their education as single parents. We hope that in some small way that this scholarship will assist others that find themselves in a similar situation of trying to improve their future through education while seeing to the needs of their families.
