Hackstaff Annual Aviation Scholarship
Purpose:
The Fund is established to provide scholarships to the University’s Aviation and Aerospace Science majors.
Criteria:
The scholarship recipient shall:
• Be meeting the University’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid
• Have financial need as determined by FAFSA and the University’s Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships
• Have a declared major within the Aviation and Aerospace Science Department.
• Be full-time (12+ credit hours)
• Be an undergraduate student
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
• Be a U.S Citizen or permanent resident
• Write an essay addressing how the student is actively engaged in the aviation industry and how they see themselves succeeding
Preference is for students with significant financial need.
Preference is for two awards at approximately $2,500 per student, split fall/spring (less administrative fee).
